Description

The inside-out flower is commonly found in moist coastal understories from northwestern California into Washington. It is named for the reflexed (swept back) petals of the small white flowers. The inside-out flower grows via underground rhizome in an expanding patch of delicate, apple-green leaves. Regular water and a shady setting will keep Vancouveria hexandra lush in hotter inland plantings. Plant with other moisture loving woodland plants.
