Description

This variety of the Point Reyes ceanothus is appreciated for its compact form, draping branches, holly-like leaves and dark blue flowers. ‘Emily Brown’ grows quickly to 3 feet high and 8 feet wide. Like many of the lower growing ceanothus, ‘Emily Brown’ is native to areas substantially affected by the Pacific. A coastal setting in full sun is an ideal planting site. In inland locations more shade is appreciated.
